Ulpanat Bika'at Hayarden

The Jordan Valley Ulpana is located in the Hamra community at the Jordan Valley regional council. The Ulpana was established in 2016 with just 27 students. These days the Ulpana is home to over 100 students, grades 9 to 12 - an increase of 400%. This also led to an increase in the number of staff members - 20 teachers and 11 staff members.

The unique and central location of the Ulpana, the reputation it has accumulated, the quality of the teaching staff and the teaching methods themselves, as well as the boarding school which serves as home away from home to all students, attract girls from all over the country.

All girls who attend the Ulpana live in the boarding school, and the Ulpana is the provider of all their meals throughout the day.

The Ulpana is part of the Jordan Valley community, not only by providing educational services to students of that region, but by being involved in the community life of the Jordan Valley: students create activities in kindergartens and schools, renovate nature sites, and much more.

Studies in the Ulpana are characterized by a full matriculation track. At the Ulpana the percentage of matriculation eligibility is 100%, Students in the school study English at the level of 5 units and mathematics at a level of 4-5 units (the highest possible).
