The Program in Business Management teaches managers to systematise their decision-making processes, to quantify business opportunities and to make informed decisions related to taking their organisations in new directions. The course consists of four compulsory seminars and three optional workshops that are taught in an intensive format over two mornings.

Specifically, participants will:

  • Analyse the new economic environment facing firms, and identify the opportunities arising from the new relationships guiding the markets.
  • Internalise the need for innovation, challenge existing paradigms and find new ways to approach market differentiation.

The Human Resources Management Program aims to strengthen the participant's ability to manage human resources strategically, aligning them with organisational objectives and adapting them to their changes.

The program provides key concepts, methods and tools for effective talent and performance management, including the art of leading, developing and planning human capital. The main theoretical-practical guidelines of labor law and collective bargaining are also addressed.

The program includes almost 80 hours of training with teachers with extensive experience in the field and exchange with pairs of different sectors of activity that have human resources in charge.

The Executive Program in Supply Chain Management and Logistics is comprised of four workshops, spread across 12 days in total. Students develop their strategic and operational capabilities in the areas of supply chains, logistics, inventory management and international business. Teaching on the course incorporates case studies and practical exercises.

  • Developing a common language for the subject of supply chain and logistics
  • Learning to visualise and manage supply chains according to global best practice and benchmarks
  • Evaluating the impact of logistics management on corporate finance
  • Providing effective indicators to support decision-making
  • Interpreting and analysing the inter-relationships of link members in a supply chain
  • Developing logistical tools to select appropriate transportation, storage and information systems
  • Developing methods for attracting new customers and accessing new markets

The Risk Management Program was designed jointly by the School of Postgraduate Studies of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences of the Universidad ORT Uruguay and the CPA Ferrere Risk Chair with the objective of providing the main concepts and tools necessary for the Management of the risks of the organizations.
