ORT’s footprint in South Africa spans both Jewish and broader national impact, empowering individuals across sectors through skills development, innovation, and lifelong learning. ORT's work in South Africa is based out of two organizations and a school network: ORT South Africa, ORT SA Cape and King David Schools.

ORT South Africa, headquartered in Johannesburg, delivers nationally accredited training programs that support entrepreneurship, employability, and digital literacy. Through initiatives like ORT JET, Second Chance Mathematics, and ICT-based youth upskilling, the organization empowers thousands of South Africans each year. With a strong emphasis on economic inclusion and transformation, ORT SA works in both the Jewish and broader South African communities, preparing individuals for meaningful participation in the workforce.

ORT SA Cape, based in Cape Town, specializes in teacher training, STEM education, and digital skills development. Its programs—such as "Let Kidz Code" and the "Grow with Google" partnership—equip learners and educators with the tools to thrive in a technology-driven world. ORT SA Cape is recognized for its community impact, fostering innovation and inclusion through lifelong learning across the Western Cape.
