ORT in South Africa
South Africa is home to one of the most dynamic and diverse Jewish communities on the African continent, and education has always been a cornerstone of its development. ORT’s footprint in South Africa spans both Jewish and broader national impact, empowering individuals across sectors through skills development, innovation, and lifelong learning. ORT's work in South Africa is based out of two organizations and a school network: ORT South Africa, ORT SA Cape and King David Schools.
