ORT Tekhiya School # 1311

The Secondary School # 1311 was opened in October 1991 as the first Jewish state school in post-soviet Russia. An ORT Technology Centre was opened at the school in October 2002.

In 2006 the school was recognized as a Centre of Education, to include a pre-school, elementary, junior high and high school. A new building was added to the school in 2010, which houses the pre-school, the assembly and sports halls, and the canteen.

Alongside the general education provided in accordance with the Russian Federation National Curriculum and Moscow Regional Curriculum, the school also offers two advanced study tracks supported by ORT: Jewish education and technology education.
