Tallinn Jewish School, Estonia
Tallinn Jewish School was originally founded in 1924, closed during the Nazi occupation in 1941, and reopened in 1990. Since 2008, it has been part of the international ORT network. Today, it is the only Jewish school in Estonia and consistently ranks among the top 20 schools nationwide. For many years, the School has been a leader among Russian-speaking educational institutions in the republic.
A municipal institution following Estonia’s national curriculum, the School integrates Jewish studies according to Israeli state standards. It currently educates 346 students and is known for its strong academic program, rich Jewish life, and modern technological resources.

Curriculum & Academic Life
The School offers a robust academic program with in-depth instruction in STEM, IT, and Jewish studies. Languages of instruction include Estonian, English, Hebrew, and Russian. Students gain international accreditation through Cambridge English courses and receive career exposure from Grade 9 through partnerships with local organizations.

Although the School is secular, all students are involved in Jewish cultural education regardless of background. It operates within the same complex as Tallinn’s Jewish community center, granting students access to religious services.
