Branko Weiss Anna Frank Junior High & High School is located in Israel’s Upper Galilee, close to Israel’s northern border with Lebanon. The student population is diverse and includes Jewish, Arab and Druze pupils, plus many immigrants from the former Soviet Union and Ethiopia. Approximately 30 percent of students at Anna Frank have learning disabilities and many come from underprivileged backgrounds: unemployment, crime, poverty and drugs are prevalent in the surrounding areas.
