Curriculum & Academic Life
Colegio Hatikva follows the Spanish national curriculum, enriched with a strong emphasis on multilingual learning. From the earliest years, students study in Spanish, Catalan, English, and Hebrew, with Cambridge English certifications available from A2 Key to C1 Advanced. The curriculum also embeds values-based education, intercultural understanding, and project-based learning to encourage critical thinking and collaboration.
While the School does not follow the International Baccalaureate framework, its programs prepare students for the Bachillerato and university-level studies. Specialist offerings include Shoah education and Jewish cultural studies, as well as school twinning projects that connect Colegio Hatikva students with peers in other countries through educational and cultural exchanges.
Enrichment & Student Life
The arts, music, and sports are integral to student life. Visual arts and instrumental music programs encourage creative expression, while sports offerings include team sports, gymnastics, and outdoor education. Students can also participate in extracurricular activities such as robotics, basketball, rhythmic gymnastics, multisport, and Spanish language support.
Leadership and civic responsibility are nurtured through Tikkun Olam projects and other community service initiatives, helping students connect their learning to real-world challenges and Jewish values.

Innovation & Resource Sharing
Innovation at Colegio Hatikva begins in the early years, with Project-Based Learning introduced at the preschool level. The School is recognized for its outstanding practice in multilingual education, with early integration of four languages, and for embedding Jewish education into daily life. They are very interested in increasing collaboration with other ORT institutions to share training and enrichment opportunities.
Educating for Life
The School is actively working to expand its STEM initiatives by developing hands-on science labs and integrating more practical learning into the curriculum. Entrepreneurship education is offered through dedicated classes that introduce students to innovative thinking, business concepts, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future challenges and opportunities.

Jewish Experience
All students, regardless of background, participate in Jewish education. The curriculum includes Hebrew language, heritage studies, and holiday celebrations. Shoah education is an important element, helping students understand history and connect to Jewish identity on a deeper level. Participation in international programs further strengthens these connections, fostering a sense of belonging to the global Jewish community.
Global Citizenship
Colegio Hatikva prepares students to be active, responsible members of society by combining academic knowledge with civic engagement, intercultural understanding, and a commitment to Jewish and universal values. School twinning programs, community service, and cultural exchange initiatives provide students with experiences that broaden their worldview and strengthen their ability to work collaboratively across cultures.
