Western Galilee Junior High and Western Galilee High School are located just 5 miles south of the Lebanese border. Their combined enrolment is 1,050 students in grade 7-12. The school is open to all children living in the surrounding districts of Ma’ale Yosef, Mateh Asher and the development town of Shlomi. The Ma’ale Yosef region is considered to be the home of many underprivileged children, and there is significant unemployment in the region.
