ORT Chile
ORT was established in Chile in 1945. The first project was a vocational school aimed at training Jews who migrated to Chile from post war Europe. It lasted 10 years. It's subsequent launch was in 1976 where ORT Chile invested in labs and workshops in Instituto Hebreo Dr. Chaim Weizmann, an affiliated institution. A technical office was then established in the 80's and since then ORT Chile has participated in a number of relevant training and school assistance initiatives. Such capabilites and services provided and/or funded include:
- Science labs
- Vocational schools design and support
- Online entrepreneurship training
- Disabilites workplace training
- School pedagogical training and support
Currently ORT Chile provide:
- Alvi small business training - an online course provided to small shop owners which focuses on administrative skills, business lay out, inventory and sales management
- Mathematical and language skills for grass roots workers of different trades belonging to the chamber of industries
- Technical support for vocational schools via public funding

Affiliated Schools
In Chile there are also two affiliated schools who have cooperative agreements with ORT Chile.
Instituto Hebreo Dr. Chaim Weizmann
Instituto Hebreo Dr. Chaim Weizmann has a 1500 students enrolment, from Kindergarten to High School. The school excels in STEM, Technology and Jewish Education. It is trilingual with Spanish, English and Hebrew learning. Ranks among the best 30 schools in national exams and participates in sport and cultural activities with great succes.
It has an extensive stem education program, as well as an extensive jewish education approach. It has an extensive use of technilogy to support education through labs and workshops, as well as as online platforms. It has a close relationship with Israel participating in different social initiatives for the benefit of the community as well as an extended scholarship program to include the underpriviledge families ensuring jewish education for all.
Maimónides school, on the other hand, a 250 students enrolment school. A modern orthodox religious school. With great dedication to torah studies, combined with an excelent secular study approach , ranking among the 50 best schools in national exams.
