Telecommunications Engineering Undergraduate

This study program provides fundamental tools for the analysis and synthesis of analog and digital electronic systems. It covers voice and data networks, radio and video transmission and the intensive use of specialized laboratories.

Core topics include: basic electronics, electronic systems, radio, computing, mathematics, signals and systems, programming and telecommunication systems.

The flexible curriculum content, including a range of elective subjects and final projects, allows students to customize their academic or professional education and specialize in various fields of knowledge, such as information systems, software engineering and embedded systems design.

Graduates of this program are able to:

  • analyze requirements and create specifications for the design and installation of communications systems
  • integrate different modules and do the necessary programming to set up complex systems in their area of expertise
  • manage the activation and operation of all sorts of electronic communication systems used by telecommunications equipment suppliers and communication departments of large corporations
  • occupy positions of technical management, to work as independent consultants or to create their own engineering company in the field of communications, television, telephone or computer networks
