The Digital Media Associate Degree trains students as computer graphic designers and desktop publishers for the media industry. The emphasis of this course is on preparing students for the “real world” of electronic publishing. Students learn about designing newspaper and magazine layouts, scanning and editing photographs as well as video editing, and web design with animation. Portfolio preparation is an important feature of the program, designed to provide clear evidence of the student’s job market skills.
